Business Partnership Opportunities
Business contributions to Essex Heritage are a strong demonstration of your company’s investment in the unique quality of life we enjoy in the Essex National Heritage Area. As a corporate contributor, you are a partner in advancing the Essex Heritage mission – to preserve and promote the vast historic, cultural and natural resources of the region. Working closely with local community leaders and grassroots advocates, we will forge coalitions and partnerships that advance preservation, education, recreation, conservation and cultural tourism.
The Essex Heritage Business Partner Program has two aspects:
Mission Based Giving Opportunities to Support Operations
Your tax-deductible gift will be used to support on-going mission-based operating costs of delivering support and technical assistance to 250+ heritage partners across Essex County.
Corporate Membership Program
Your tax-deductible Essex Heritage Business Membership supports programs and services designed to enhance, preserve and promote the unique historic, cultural and natural resources found within the Essex National Heritage Area. Essex Heritage is an advocate for smart-growth development, and economic development that fuels job growth and sustaining local business. Your membership sustains this commitment. Benefits include, but are not limited to invitations to special events, complimentary activities, social media links, promotional visibility in the Essex Heritage Newsletter, EssexHeritage.org website and recognition during the annual meeting.
Annual Fund Giving
Essex Heritage solicits business gifts to its Annual Fund to support operations and set program expenses. Business contributions to the Essex Heritage Annual Fund are recognized on the EssexHeritage.org website, e-newsletter, social media links, annual report and at the annual meeting.
Thomas M. Leonard Partnership Grant
In recognition of founding Essex National Heritage Commission President Tom Leonard’s role in the creation of the Heritage Area and his fifteen-year commitment to promoting our mission, Essex Heritage established the Thomas M. Leonard Partnership Grant. This grant program nurtures the future stewards of the region’s historic, cultural and natural resources. The Essex Heritage Partnership Grant Program is a matching grant program created to foster collaboration between organizations that share the organization’s mission to preserve and promote the historic, cultural and natural resources of the Essex National Heritage Area.
Program Sponsorship and Support
Your tax-deductible sponsorship of specific Essex Heritage activities links your business to the Essex Heritage mission. By investing in sponsorship, you can create top-of-mind awareness of your business, service and products among Essex heritage constituents, align your business objectives with other regional leaders, demonstrate a visible commitment to community-building and involve your employees in opportunities that build community. There are a number of sponsorship opportunities to support the mission of the Essex National Heritage Commission including the Heritage Hero Award Dinner, TRAILS & SAILS Weekends and the Youth Stewardship Program.
