Essex National Heritage Commission Signs
One of the Commission's first projects was to place road and interpretive signs throughout the County to link the visitor centers, the historic resources, the natural resources and the communities to a variety of modes of transportation in a clear, unified and consistent manner. The signs are a great resource to visitors and a source of pride among Area residents.
As part of the sign project, a manual was created to ensure the easy recognition of the signs through uniform graphics and typography. That manual is available, in pdf format, here.
