2009 Essex Heritage Hero Award Dinner

Tom CostinThank you to all guests, sponsors and patrons of the 2009 Essex Heritage Hero Award Dinner. It was our distinct pleasure to celebrate the lifelong civic engagements and accomplishments of Thomas P. Costin, Jr. with another sell-out crowd at the elegant Hawthorne Hotel.

We hope that you enjoyed the evening’s festivities as much as Tom did, and that you learned more about Essex Heritage, the National Park Service and our shared commitment to preserve and promote the rich historic, cultural and natural resources of this incredible place we call home.

Tom’s longtime commitment to the heritage development of the Essex County is legendary. From his early years as the youngest Mayor elected to office in Lynn, to his distinguished career as Postmaster and political sage who served as one of the “founding fathers’ of the Essex National Heritage Ad Hoc Committee, Tom has been our champion.
